OUR MUSEUM
Q´INTI, is the Quechua word for hummingbird. In Andean culture it represents rebirth and the beating of its wings is a symbol of infinity. Different cultures associate it with the continuity of life.
For the Mayans, hummingbirds are the messengers that carry the desires and thoughts of men and gods from one place to another. Due to their incredible speed and their almost immateriality, due to their delicacy and power, hummingbirds have generated an enormous fascination for us since time immemorial.
